I think my view on my own personal privacy has changed, because even though I was aware addresses were listed on the NC Voter Registration website, I had no idea how easy it was to find information of family members and other more personal details of peoples’ lives that you might not think would be on the internet.

Hivetracks Discussion Reflection
During the HiveTracks discussions, I learned sometimes even projects managed by public universities can suffer from ownership issues that can cause the data to not be freely available in some cases, that there are many types of honey, with a type known as sourwood being produced right here on the Blue Ridge, and that there are several bee health issues, some of which are dealt with by using unapproved substances.

Ethics Discussions Reflection
I think the discussions were very insightful, both in that I learned a lot of specifics about other classmates, but also in general from hearing different perspectives on ethics that made me think about some of the things I believe personally, and also how our generation in general views things.

Fun With Discord.py And Matplotlib
Today I finally finished the Codecademy Python course, and I decided that I should make something actually useful to try out my newfound Python skills, so I decided that making a Discord bot using Discord.py would be a project simple enough for me to understand, but that I could make as complex as I wanted with my knowledge of Python (and maybe add to later if I learned anything cool that’s relevant to Discord bots).

Astronomy Info
I recently was going through some of my old files from the programming class I took sophomore year, and I found a cool little project I made called “Astronomy Info”. It basically just shows info about various planets organized by galaxy and solar system.
